| Diana Cherry has been a resident
of Springfield since 1977. She was admitted
to the bar in 1976, and subsequently admitted
to the U.S. District Court for the Central
District of Illinois and the U.S. Court
of Appeals, Seventh Circuit in 1986. |

| Before coming to our firm,
Ms. Cherry served as Assistant Defender
in the Office of the State Appellate Defender.
Ms. Cherry began as an associate in our
firm in 1986. She was named partner in 1993. |

| Ms. Cherry's primary area
of practice is in family law, but she also
handles criminal cases, personal injury
and other civil matters. She practices not
only at the trial level in state and federal
courts, but also at the Appellate level.
In many of the appellate cases that she
has handled, the results have been favorable
and have also had precedential value for
cases statewide. |
